Lincoln County is located in south-central Idaho. It is bounded on the southeast by Minidoka County, on the north by Blaine and Camas Counties, on the west by Gooding County, and on the south by Jerome County.
The county seat is Shoshone. The town is a small friendly rural area, where agriculture is the main economical base and a gateway leading to many natural wonders such as: Shoshone Ice Caves, Mammoth Caves, Craters of the Moon, Malad Gorge, 1000 Springs Scenic Route, Natural Hot Springs, Fossil Beds, City of Rocks, Balanced Rock, Oregon Trail, Shoshone Falls, Snake River Canyon and much more!
The Little Wood River flows near Richfield and the Richfield region is supplied with irrigation water diverted from the Big Wood River near Magic Reservoir. Good fishing!
